A HURTING HEART
SILENT TEARS ECHO
Too many good people, kind and gentle souls and suffering lives are filled with soft and quiet teardrops, hidden scars and invisible fears. Sometimes when we look into the eyes of our fellow wounded brothers or sisters we are looking into the very window to their broken or wounded heart. Therein rests Christ.
May all human beings freely choose to live the balance of their days as ambassadors for the Divine. Instead of mostly “wanting to be loved”, each human being has the capacity to love others in genuine, unconditional and quiet, yet profound ways. To truly grow in one’s abilities to love more, that person MUST first step out into the sometimes cold, crazy and tough world. Do YOU do this? Learn to love more… and yes, when you dare to love, you will be hurt. It is part of being and becoming a greater lover in the ways of Jesus Christ.
When your heart is wounded and emotionally weighed down and your eyes keep crying costly tears of genuine love, these are times when you find a quiet place out of those busy locations in society; and so often are filled with a loud and surrounding noises and vexations. Be still in silence. Listen in your prayerful heart. Know our Lord is with you now and until the hour of your death.
When your heart is hurting, when your mind feels burdensome and when your spirit seems empty, close your eyes and in solitude, express your deepest cries, spiritual groans and prayers. Men, be willing to cry! Crying is quite often part of humanity’s commonly shared healing process.
Let us go now. You pray for me. I will pray for you. God loves you. You are loved by others. Spend this precious day in imitation of Christ. Close it off with 15 to 20 minutes in prayers and Scripture reading. Always choose to love in the ways of God… not the easier ways of the world. Then humbly pray “Amen”.
