COURAGE & PERSEVERANCE
The spiritual life if lived out in fullness is not an easy pursuit. Brutal frankness, hard cold facts and a greater fullness of truth are essential qualities in any spiritual life worth living. Traps are everywhere. Enemies hide unannounced or unknown to the genuine pilgrim of God. In the darkness of shadows human beings work together to defame, discredit and tell lies about modern disciples of Christ. Your life and the lives of others can be subjects discussed in secret places.
There are coordinated scheduled quiet and hidden plotting sessions in which one’s strengths and failures are carefully discussed among your enemies . Together they plan, coordinate and carry out your publicly proclaimed character assassination. In return, you recognize their carefully crafted evil and go on with your life.
This is a rich spiritual life… a genuine life worth living. But burdens are imposed upon modern disciples. Forget respect, justice or honesty. Your enemies do not value your own or other’s human qualities. Your spiritual Adversaries concentrate their lives in waves of destruction.
I prefer to live and concentrate my one passing lifetime as a life firmly centered upon Christ. Live your prayerful life as being a life created by God. Live your daily life as a devout life… a life worth living.
God more completely blesses numerous lives; especially blessed lives centered on ways which actually help to build up the Kingdom of God. Options are for you, me and all who choose to exercise such options.
Daily pressures, like one’s finances, unsecured employment, the steadfast inflated prices of housing and food expenses, and the continuing breakdown of family all place burdensome worries, challenges and needs into the minds and hearts of millions of struggling people and families.
How does one live with such destructive, harmful, and even malevolent qualities in one’s midst? Have the audacity and the guts to surrender your life and worries into the open hands of Christ. This requires trust, fidelity to the Gospel , and deeply seated love for God. Trust our Lord… not mere mortals!
Your spiritual life in its maturity calls you to humbly and prayerfully trust in our Lord. Never hesitate to humbly cry out for Divine help. We as mere mortals should always offer our prayers. Daily and deliberately, we should give thanks for the times when God and others choose to help us. In return, our Lord encourages us to help, serve and lead others.
In prayer we humbly give thanks to God. The above spiritual qualities help us to more completely live out our own one genuine blessed life; a life deeply enriched by courage, fidelity and genuine heartfelt humility.
We are called by God to imitate Christ. He calls us to serve our strangers, our enemies and numerous trusting and vulnerable people. May we always seek to exemplify our ancient Faith.
May we set faithful examples of modern discipleship by living out God’s numerous gifts right in our own communities. Let us pray even more. And together let us prayerfully cry out, Amen. Amen.
Blessings and appreciation from Sydney Australia.
Spot on Father.
After a while their gas lighting becomes less shocking and much more visible.
